A closer look.
Giving, made easier. The official New Zealand Blood Service Donor app lets donors book whole-blood or plasma appointments, find places to donate, review their donation history and manage upcoming appointments—all in one place.
Designed by a donor. As a regular donor, I brought first-hand experience to the design and testing process, helping the team prioritise an experience that made every step of donating easier.
The right team. I recruited the development team that delivered the original app and its subsequent releases, then managed scope, priorities and delivery as the product evolved.
More ways to give. I led updates that introduced push notifications, dedicated messaging for platelet donors and support for team donations.
